Although no date has been set as of today, the PR folks at SEA LIFE say an April 2012 opening date is confirmed. With over 260,000 gallons of water and 5,000 fish and sea creatures on display, expect to be completely immersed in the world under the sea as soon as you enter. In addition, a stunning centerpiece will be a huge tropical ocean tank with a walk-through underwater tunnel which allows visitors to come nose-to-nose with sharks. Comments (0)Permalink Share AMC Best Picture Showcase 2012 Friday February 17, 2012If you love movies as much as I do, head to AMC Theaters Best Picture Showcase and spend one glorious Saturday enjoying nothing but the Best Picture Oscar nominees and buttered popcorn. It amounts to hours and hours of wonderful lounging--which I have to admit sounds pretty inviting.

With 9 Oscar noms, AMC split the showcase into two days, February 18th and 20th. They also added a 24 hour movie marathon on February 25th.
